I got my start writing about architecture and history from a blog called Brownstoner. Over the years as different owners made changes to suit an ever-changing demographic, I’ve churned out over a thousand articles. Some of them I’ve revised and printed here. For the last couple of years I’ve only been writing for their semi-annual print magazine, and the articles for that were posted on the blog several months later. Now they’ve asked me to write a new monthly column of new material. The first of these new articles was published yesterday. I admit to being swamped with other work, so I’m going to be lazy and simply post the link. I hope that you will follow it and that you enjoy the story. See you next week with a new piece.

Great, you were the best thing about that site by far!
